What a day this was, one on of the nicest couples you could ever meet getting married at one of my favourite venues in Lancashire – the magnificent Browsholme Hall.
“The are absolutely amazing!!! I’ve got goosebumps!!!! Yes yes yes!!! Thanks Toni!!!! Xx” – Dave.
“They have made me cry!!!! They are fabulous Toni ….truly fabulous xxxx” – Sarah.
Sarah and Dave’s wedding was immense. I absolutely LOVE these guys. They are so ridiculously bubbly. I’ve known Dave for a number of years now. We have even been to V Festival together and in the Chair reclining Olympics, but I’ll save that for another day. He’s a super funny guy and I can honestly he has found the perfect life companion in Sarah. Cheesy I know, but they are so perfect for each other.
Sarah was getting ready in the morning at her Mum and Dad’s family home in Lancashire. They have a little flat next door to the house where all the bridal preparations took place. I know this was pretty important to Sarah as she once lived there.
Meanwhile Dave was at his parent’s house just 15 minutes away with his parents too. I think it’s so nice for brides and grooms to spend the morning with their families as I know parents really appreciate it. My good friend Neil Redfern was on hand to assist me on the day. He caught up with Dave in the morning to capture all the moments with his family. It’s so nice to have a second photographer on a wedding day as not only does this allow you to have these precious moments in the morning and guests arriving at the church but it’s great for all those extra little candid moments during the day too. Thanks so much Neil.
Sarah and Dave married at St. Stephen’s Church in Burnley. It was a really nice ceremony at times quite emotional, sorry Dave, I mean “dusty”! Ha ha. There was so many VIPs taking part in the wedding day. Dave’s Dad was playing on the keyboard and their beloved dog Alfie was a witness throughout. They also had a champagne reception in the church after the service too.
After the ceremony, fizz drinking and confetti throwing all the guests made their way over to Browsholme Hall and Tithe Barn where they were greeting by Wayne Farrow for one hell of a wedding reception. I’ve worked with Wayne a number of times now and he comes highly recommended. Smooth relaxing love songs as your guys arrive but yet gets your party started before you’ve even sat on your chairs!
What an epic wedding – I’ll let the pictures tell you why.
