Weddings at the Shireburn Arms.

The Shireburn Arms is a cosy country pub in the heart of the Ribble Valley. The 17th century Inn is the dream wedding venue for your perfect day. It is a stones throw away from Stonyhurst College in Hurst Green. The terrace to the rear has fabulous views reaching across the gorgeous Ribble Valley countryside.

The Shireburn is an eclectic mix of old and new makes it the perfect opportunity for beautiful wedding photographs. The comfy sofas and interiors have a very indulgent and relaxing feel. The pub has a small number of comfortable bedrooms making you feel like you’re in a luxury boutique. The perfect place for a bride to begin her wedding celebrations.

Intimate Ceremonies.

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph a number of weddings at the Shireburn Arms. The ceremony room is a great size for smaller intimate weddings, lending itself to truly bespoke weddings and civil ceremonies. I love intimate wedding ceremonies as they are so personal to the couple. Having just the right number of people watching you say your vows is extremely special. It’s such a cosy little room at the Shireburn too, seating up to 70 guests, it’s the perfect size.

As a photographer it’s so nice to capture so many marriages in this relaxed and personal environment. Did I mention you have magnificent views of the Ribble Valley as you say “I DO” too?! It’s ever so romantic.

Why I love the Shireburn Arms.

I’ve documented so many moments of true emotion at this venue, created some gorgeous portraits and clicked my way through some epic parties! This little hidden gem is one of my all time favourite wedding venues. It’s in one of the most beautiful parts of Lancashire.

The views from the back of the hotel are like a painting. They are stunning which is so nice when you are sat having your wedding breakfast looking over the rolling hills. I love the Shireburn Arms for creative wedding portraits too. The gardens are so lovely. It’s like a little secret garden, when you explore your way through you keep finding more. At sunset the orange sky beams through the trees too which creates a really nice backdrop for gorgeous wedding photographs.

Even on the rainy day’s I love this venue because the interior is great too. The quirky decor and roaring fires make it so lovely in the winter. The different shaped mirrors and quirky corridors are right up my street.

One final shout out to the staff too. They are always so helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble. If they look after me so well then I can only imagine the hospitality they offer to guests is endless. It’s also one of my favourite places to go for a Sunday roast too. The food is amazing!

A perfect venue for summer and winter weddings.

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph a number of weddings at the Shireburn Arms now. It’s so nice that I’ve been able to document so many memorable days but yet through all the different season’s of the year. The venue has so much to offer all year round which has also made every wedding so very unique to the couple too.
