Peckforton Castle in Cheshire is one of my absolute favourite wedding venues. From a wedding photography point of view, everything about this venue is amazing. The way the light falls around the castle is perfect for beautiful romantic wedding photographs. The memorable grounds offer endless photographs for amazing wedding photographs of a bride and groom.
This breathtaking wedding venue in Cheshire is every brides dream. The castle grounds make every girl feel like a princess whilst the unusual red stoned walls make this luxury wedding venue extremely unique. You can certainly wow your guests from the moment they arrive in the grounds up the magnificent driveway towards the enchanted castle.
I’ve been so lucky to photograph a number of weddings at Peckforton Castle now. As there is so many great places for photographs every single wedding has new imagery. The medieval castle creates the perfect backdrop for photographs all year round, with so many gorgeous opportunities for the perfect wedding imagery.

Wedding Ceremonies in the Great Hall
The glorious 10m high ceiling and the magnificent original fireplace make this room the perfect place to say “I DO”. You can just imagine saying your wedding vows as the light beams through the stained glass windows looks incredible. It’s the most amazing space for spectacular wedding photographs.
I love photographing civil ceremonies inside Peckforton Castle as the guests are always in awe of the beauty and that’s before the blushing bride walks down the aisle too!

There’s a pretty good reason why this is one of my absolute favourite wedding venues to photograph at in the Cheshire countryside. It’s gorgeous both inside and out. By gorgeous I mean beyond incredible. If you are planning your luxury wedding here, congratulations! I bet you can’t wait to get married!
What I love most about Peckforton Castle is the possibility for creating spectacular wedding photographs is endless. You could get married any time of the year and still have the most creative and romantic wedding photographs.
Where is the best place for photographs inside?
I love the way the light falls through all the little windows throughout the castle. The Hexagonal Room has long large windows which are perfect anytime of year. The extravagant twirling staircases are great for creative evening wedding portraits for the bride and groom especially.
During the summer time I love to take my couples for a little walk into the woods and around the castle grounds for a variety of wedding photographs. My brides and grooms also love this alone time to really take in how they naturally feel on their wedding day too. As everyone says, the day goes so fast!
