Luxury barn wedding venue in Cheshire
Scarlet Hall is the perfect romantic wedding venue. Located in the heart of the Cheshire countryside in Malpas, it’s in close proximity to city centres like Manchester and Liverpool. It’s the perfect country house wedding venue for both intimate weddings and luxury larger affairs. The wedding estate is 12 acres in total with endless outdoor spaces including flowing lawns and red apple orchards. As soon as you enter the driveway you’ll fall in love with the exceptional manor house and rustic coaching barn. The interior spaces are divine. Think of it as a wedding retreat that’s a home away from home. The 11 luxury bedroom suites promise the perfect start to your magical wedding day and I can see why.
The Coaching Barn is the main wedding space. Accommodating up to 80 guests for your wedding reception. The high ceilings and large windows combined with twinkling fairy lights or draped ceilings create the perfect ambiance for your wedding celebrations.

Picture perfect locations for your wedding photographs at Scarlet Hall
The driveway is the obvious choice for beautiful photographs, the tree lined path makes a beautiful backdrop for gorgeous wedding photographs. This is also where the sunsets too which means you have the most amazing golden hour across the acres of gardens.
I personally love the wisteria that drapes across the entrance to the coaching barn, the colours are just stunning. Another favourite location is the red apple orchard along with the gardens in general. It’s always so nice to take couples for a wander on their wedding day just for 5-10 minutes to have some time to take gorgeous wedding photographs but also so that you can have some time just for yourselves to be in the moment and cherish your wedding day.

Wedding Ceremonies at Scarlet Hall
There’s endless possibilities of locations for your wedding ceremony at Scarlet Hall. The property is licensed, so couples can have a civil or humanist ceremony on-site in the barn or gardens. I personally love a humanist ceremony as this is much more personalised to the couple. The celebrant will guide your wedding guests through your unique love story from the beginning until the present day which is a really special experience.
It is also possible to have an off-site church ceremony in St Edith’s in Shocklach or St Mary’s in Tilston, if you would prefer a more formal or traditional wedding ceremony.
Wedding Receptions at Scarlet Hall
The coaching barn at Scarlet Hall is the perfect space for your wedding reception. The high ceilings and ample window light create the perfect atmosphere for warm and cosy wedding receptions. The ceilings already have fairy lights twinkling but you can also add ceiling drapes for a more decadent decoration.
The coaching barn really lends itself to a banqueting style table layout which consists of one or two longer tables rather than smaller tables spread throughout the space. The newest wedding trend which looks amazing is the serpentine table layout which is where the tables are curved back and forth in a S shape. A creative and dynamic element to wedding event layouts.
