Luxury Country House wedding venue in Clitheroe

A luxurious wedding venue located near Clitheroe in the heart of the Ribble Valley. The magnificent Georgian mansion has acres of gorgeous gardens and grounds overlook the beautiful countryside. This alone makes the red brick Country House one of the most photographic wedding venues in the North West. Originally built as an exceptional private residence in the Eaves Hall has always been exclusive. Now, restored and refurbished with wedding celebrations in mind as an exclusive wedding venue.
The amazing reception rooms include a dining room and ceremony room for up to 120 guests or the ballroom can host 60 for those more intimate occasions. The fantastic bar and lounge look over the gardens and there’s a stunning snooker room to enjoy too which is great for quiet moments or groom preparations.
The outdoor spaces are just as impressive as the indoor rooms. The venue is guaranteed to provide you with amazing photographs on your wedding day. Fabulous Italian terraces drop away to spectacular views over the Ribble Valley. The bowling green has a beautiful Wedding Pavilion which is the perfect place for outdoor ceremonies too. From the moment you pass through the wrought iron gates and up the sweeping driveway this stunning country house will blow you away.

Wedding Day Bride and Groom Preparations at Eaves Hall

I love to document weddings from when the morning begins right through until your guests are partying on the dance floor. I love wedding preparations at Eaves Hall as the Lodge at the entrance to the drive is a perfectly secluded post for brides to have hair and make up applied away from the distractions from the wedding day preparations at the main house. Usually the wedding morning continues in the light and airy bridal suite from 11am where the bride can get into her wedding dress before walking down the extravagant staircase to the wedding ceremony.

Eaves Hall also has the Snooker room which almost feels like a secret space for groom preparations on a wedding day. Tucked to the rear of the hotel the snooker room feels like a private members club where the gents can enjoy a relaxed morning as they finish their own preparations with wedding suits, jackets and button holes overlooking the gorgeous gardens of the country house.
The snooker room is also one of my favourite locations for intimate wedding portraits on a wedding day too as it has such an incredible cosy atmosphere.

Civil wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions at Eaves Hall

Owned by the reputable James Places alongside sister wedding venues Mitton Hall, Holmes Mill and the Shireburn Arms. Eaves Hall is fully licensed for civil ceremonies both inside and outdoors. Every corner of this venue exudes a sense of history and sophistication that adds a unique touch to your wedding day. The Georgian-styled Ballroom, complete with crystal chandeliers and large sash windows, can comfortably seat up to 120 guests for both the ceremony and the wedding reception. Its timeless elegance provides a perfect backdrop for classic, romantic weddings.

The outdoor wedding ceremony options are a beautiful Wedding Pavilion set on gorgeous manicured lawns surrounded by elegant gardens creating the perfect scenic backdrop. There’s also the Veranda to the front of the building lined with pillars holding histroic charm. An amazing space to say ‘I DO” as your guests are seated in front of the historic house. This is also the perfect atmosphere for a luxury cocktail reception for you and your wedding guests.
