THE OUT BARN CLOUGH BOTTOM WEDDINGS

Set high in the Ribble Valley countryside, it’s like your own wedding weekend retreat.
Big skies stretch across the hills, the light moves gently through the space, and the atmosphere feels calm, open and quietly luxurious. Your day will unfold naturally, in a relaxed, stylish and beautifully unforced way.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT GETTING MARRIED AT THE OUT BARN

The Out Barn at Clough Bottom feels both expansive and intimate at the same time. The venue sits within acres of rolling countryside, giving weddings here a sense of space that few places can offer. Couples are drawn to the combination of the modern glass fronted oval barn which completely opens up into natural surroundings.

Ceremonies usually take place inside the light-filled barn, where floor to ceiling windows frame Pendle Hill and the rolling Lancashire countryside. It’s a setting that feels contemporary but warm, allowing the focus to stay on the moment rather than the formality.

After the ceremony, guests typically flow straight out onto the terrace for drinks and canapés while the countryside stretches out around them. It creates a relaxed rhythm to the day, one that moves naturally from ceremony to celebration without anyone feeling rushed.

For the reception, the barn transforms into a stylish yet comfortable space for dining and speeches. Long tables, soft lighting and the natural textures of the building itself create a setting that feels both elegant and welcoming.

The space is incredibly versatile, meaning couples can style it in a way that reflects their own vision — from modern editorial aesthetics to something softer and more romantic.

You can book your viewing with the wedding team at The Out Barn, Off Cross Lane, Waddington, Clitheroe, Lancs BB7 3JH. The telephone number is 01254 826285.

Reasons to choose me as your out barn wedding photographer

The Out Barn is a venue built around light, space and atmosphere and photographing it well means understanding how those elements change throughout the day.
My approach is rooted in observation rather than interruption. The best moments at a wedding rarely happen when everyone is looking at the camera, they happen in the in between spaces. The laughter during drinks on the terrace, the quick glance between you during the ceremony, the atmosphere as the barn fills with candlelight later in the evening. By working quietly and intuitively throughout the day, I’m able to capture the feeling of the celebration as it unfolds, not just the schedule of it.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR OUT BARN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER EXPERIENCE

WhAT’S INCLUDED IN AN OUT BARN WEDDING PACKAGE?

A wedding at The Out Barn rarely feels rushed. The day unfolds slowly, from the quiet anticipation of the morning to the energy of the dance floor as night settles over the Ribble Valley. My photography coverage is designed to follow that natural rhythm, documenting the entire experience rather than just the key moments.

Most couples choose full-day wedding photography coverage at The Out Barn, beginning with the calm moments of the morning. The light moving through the dressing rooms, the first arrivals, the atmosphere gradually building as the day begins.

Documenting the ceremony inside the glass fronted barn, the drinks reception out on the terrace, and the wedding breakfast as the landscape beyond the windows slowly changes with the afternoon light.

Throughout the day we’ll also create a small pocket of time for editorial-style wedding portraits at The Out Barn. These portraits never feel staged or time-consuming, just a few quiet minutes together while the light over the Ribble Valley feels at it’s best.

One of the things couples love most about The Out Barn is how the atmosphere changes as the day moves into evening. The countryside outside becomes darker and quieter while the barn fills with candlelight, speeches, music and dancing.

These are often the moments where the real energy of the wedding appears. The laughter, the movement, the unfiltered celebrations that tell the full story of the day.

After the wedding, your photographs are carefully curated and edited before being delivered in a private online gallery, making it easy to download your images and share them with family and friends.

Couples also choose to create a fine art wedding album, transforming the photographs into something tangible, a way to relive the atmosphere of your Out Barn wedding long after the day itself has passed.

Ultimately, what’s included isn’t just coverage. It’s the intention to capture the full experience of getting married here. The space, the light, the landscape and the feeling of the day as it naturally unfolds.

Hey, I’m Toni. I love old photographs, the kind with crumpled edges that your grandparents would dig out on a rainy day. I love that they would always know the full story hidden within every single one. I have an obsession with polaroids and real film, giving me that feeling where one memory could live a life of it’s own.
