I absolutely love the city of York, it’s so full of unique character, history and little hidden gems of which Grays Court is definitely included! So perfectly situated in the centre this exclusive luxury wedding venue is ideal for intimate wedding ceremonies and receptions. I absolutely LOVE documenting smaller weddings celebrations, there is something so personal and deep about capturing a smaller number of people.
Outdoor Wedding Ceremony in the Walled Garden
Laura and Tom live in Australia but chose to come back to the brides home town to celebrate with her nearest and dearest. Laura’s room overlooked the walled garden so she could see and hear her wedding guests arriving into the little haven of the walled garden with chairs ready in situ for their outdoor wedding ceremony.
It was so lovely to see the natural reactions of all the wedding guests as the bride made her way from the house round the pathway to the top of the aisle. The longer walk meant that everyone could truly enjoy the outdoor experience.
I think there is also something special about getting married outside too. The sun was on their side, making it a truly unique and memorable experience. As the ceremony ended the New York Brass Band played creating a wonderful atmosphere throughout the reception.
