Alex and Peter fell in love with Stanley House Hotel and Spa almost immediately. The privacy and intimacy of the wedding venue allowed them to host their smaller dream wedding. There are so many options of rooms and spaces available at the hotel that allow you to have your perfect day. I absolutely love smaller, more intimate weddings. They are such a pleasure to photograph because of how much love and emotion is clearly displayed within the room.
Bridal suite preparations at Stanley House
The amazing decor in the hotel makes you feel the luxury as soon as you open the door. The velour soaked chairs and the warming coolers make it romantic and comfortable from the moment you wake up. The larger rooms are perfect for hosting your wedding morning and space provides the perfect backdrop for amazing wedding photographs.
Alex planned her perfect wedding morning alongside her sister who was a bridesmaid and also her daughter and niece who made beautiful flower girls. The morning preparations began quite early although the ceremony wasn’t until mid afternoon which meant everyone felt calm and relaxed. This extra amount of time also gave me chance to make the 20 minute drive to see the groom. Peter was adjusting his suit and tie as I arrived in the mirror with his best man. Perfect timing!
Perfectly styled Civil Ceremony in the Stables Suite
The bride and groom had the most amazing design team working on their wedding day. Stanley House is so versatile as a wedding venue which means your options are endless when it comes to styling your venue on your wedding day. They absolutely transformed every part of the venue. When I walked into the ceremony room I was blown away, it looked just perfect. Cream carpet runner down the aisle with perfectly placed candles. The table had gorgeous pink tones with flowers and floating candles. The absolute show stopper were the gorgeous blossom trees with hanging candles placed either side of the aisle. They looked spectacular!
Creative wedding photographs at Stanley House Hotel
Getting married in summer always allows a greater length of time during the day which also means you can spend more time with your guests too. As a documentary wedding photographer I love capturing moments on a wedding day as they happen as I feel this will add value to your wedding photographs in many years to come. I love how my couples put trust in me to capture these moments in the most creative way. It really means so much to me.
Stanley House is a very modern and contemporary wedding venue which for me has endless possibilities for creative wedding portraits in both the daytime and the evening. I always want your wedding photographs to be unique to you so I’ll go out of my way to create amazing portraits that may not be visible to the average eye but that are your wedding photographs.
All my creative portraits on this couples wedding day were planned before I sneaked the couple from their wedding celebrations which means I only required them for 5 minutes on each occasion. I think you’ll agree it was totally worth it!
