Crathorne Hall Wedding Photography
Beth + Sean“I just want to say a massive thank you for the wedding photographs, they are amazing! I will most definitely be recommending you to my friends whom plan getting married over the next few years.”
Beth and Sean chose the most beautiful and magnificent Edwardian country house for there intimate wedding. The grade two listed buildings is the absolutely perfect backdrop for gorgeous wedding photographs. Not to mention the stunning grounds and endless gardens create the most idllic setting to day I do. As you make your way down the drive you feel like your being transported into a little secret world of happiness.
I arrived on the morning of the wedding to photograph the bride and her bridesmaids. They were all having hair and make up done in one large room which was perfect to capture documentary photographs of all the preparations and laughter between all the girls. This also gave me enough room to capture all the details of the wedding dress and shoes too. The large windows and balcony meant the way the light fell in the room was just perfect. As the groom was also meeting the groomsmen and the remainder of the bridal party in the country house it meant I could also capture the last moments of him getting ready too which was nice. It’s always lovely for the bride and groom to see the moments documented before the wedding ceremony. The colour scheme of the bridal party was gold which really complimented the surroundings and luxurious feel of the venue.
Following the intimate wedding ceremony in the elegant room inside the beautiful Crathorne Hall all the guests enjoyed champagne and canapés while I took the bride and groom for a walk in the beautiful gardens for wedding portraits. I love this time of day as it always gives the couple time to enjoy each others company and take in the memories of the day. It’s also my time to create beautiful imagery for the newlyweds.
One of my favourite parts of the wedding day was the surprise the couple had for their family and friends. During the evening reception they asked all their guests to take a break from the dance floor so they could make their way outside for a surprise firework display. It was the most perfect end to a wonderful day as everyone watched the night sky fill with colour.
Lovely as ever Miss Darcy. Cracking venue too!
Very nice pictures and Photography Style, greatings from Vienna.
