THE GETTING READY
A wedding morning moves in whispers before it soars. I’ll be there quietly capturing the emotion in the background as the excitement builds in equal measures to the anticipation and nerves. It’s where your story begins.
Your morning preparations will feel like you have endless time, sipping champagne with your wedding party whilst you chat during hair and make up. Like any group getting ready together the time disappears. Fast!
Before you know it you’ll be stepping into your shoes taking a deep breath before you walk down the aisle.
Two hours coverage will allow me to document your personal interactions. Creating beautiful imagery of your wedding shoes, wedding dress in it’s full glory with your flowing veil and your chosen scent for the day. As the morning unfolds I’ll be discreetly capturing your mum fastening the little buttons on your wedding dress. The bridesmaid you least expected to cry, holding back tears. Your friends in awe of how radiant you look.

GOING DOWN THE AISLE
Deep breaths. It’s time!
Your wedding ceremony is one of those big moments but filled with so many unseen. The nerves as you walk down the aisle, people reaching for tissues as you pass, the first glance between you both. The sense of calm as you relax when you hold hands at the top of the aisle. The laughter from all your guests as your dog wanders in the wrong way with your wedding rings. The silence before your wedding vows.
I’ll be there to capture all the tiny unseen moments of emotion and connection between the two of you and of your family and friends. Delicately, discreetly and honestly documenting how it truly felt to say “I do”.
After you walk down the aisle as newlyweds I like to natural let minutes unfold. A moment for you to say “We’re married”. Embrace the biggest hugs from your friends. And the warm welcome to the family from your new in-laws.
THE CONFETTI
You want the big moment? You want to experience walking through a multicoloured snow storm of excitement? Let’s make it happen.
It all starts with the prep. You’re going to want to come prepared. Your venue are going to thank you for bringing the biodegradable confetti. The awesome news is that you can now also design your own confetti to match your wedding colour scheme and with the perfect petal combo to get the best results as it falls!
My top tip would be have your wedding party hand out your wedding confetti in baskets so your guests can grab a handful or two as they wait in line. You can never have too much confetti! It’s such an exciting part of your wedding day that all your guys are going to love. Let’s make sure there’s enough for everyone!

THE GROUP SHOTS
No one wants to stand around all afternoon having group photographs. Not when there’s catching up to do, welcome drinks to sip and canapés to scoff. That being said I know your parents and your nan might appreciate a nice family photograph to show you off.
Before your wedding day I’ll grab the details of your immediate family to make sure there’s zero faff on the day and we can grab those all important photographs in as little time as possible. That way you can spend more time actually enjoying your drinks reception and I’ll be able to work like a ninja capturing your friends naturally having the best time.
Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to include some super sassy photographs of your wedding party. Gone are the days of all standing in a line saying cheese, I’m talking lightly posed, creative group shots that will have you front and centre stage.
THE PORTRAITS
You want some gorgeous imagery of you in your finest but you don’t want to spend hours away from your guests? I hear you.
I love to take you for two 10-15 minute portrait sessions on your wedding day. The first before you sit down for your wedding breakfast during your drinks reception. Trust me you’ll love that time, just the two of you. Time to breathe and take in all the excitement of the day so far. Time for you.
While your guests are being called to dine we can step away, take a walk around the gardens and capture the genuine connection between you both. There’s no stiff posing or awkward moments but instead gentle direction towards the best light and the most attractive angles.
Saving the second portrait session for the evening, usually before your first dance. I’ll always be chasing the perfect golden hour sunset. No sun, no problem. Let’s take our shoot inside, grab a cocktail and create some magazine ready portraits in the bar, or better still on it!
THE SPEECHES
Glasses charged and tissues at the ready.
It’s the time your guests have been waiting for. Usually after your wedding breakfast when you’re guests have full bellies and your best man has settled is nerves with a whiskey.
I’ll already know before hand if your partner is planning a surprise song or your Dad is bringing out your childhood photographs or an unexpected gift.
Like you’re ceremony I’ll be locked in focusing on the energy within the room. The tears your grandparents are fighting or the uncontrollable roars of laughter from the friends table.
You’ll be able to full immerse yourselves in everyones words knowing that I’m there in the background people watching, discreetly capturing the unseen moments that are folding around you.
CUTTING THE CAKE
This wedding tradition has more meaning that you might think. No matter whether you have a 7 tier show shopper or an elegant 2 tier creation, let’s give it the limelight it deserves.
It’s your first official task as newlyweds, representing teamwork and shared responsibilities as you cut through the layers together symbolic, but lighthearted fun.
The cake slicing ritual is usually also the green light for the dance floor too! Let’s get the cake out of the darkest corner of the room and gather your guests around ready to get the evening party started.
As you catch each other’s expression the room will no doubt erupt around you. Whether it’s a neat slice or a chaotic crumble, the moment is less about the cake and more about the simple joy of doing something playful with the person you love.
THE PARTY
The dancing is where the day unbuttons itself. Lights dim, shoes come off, laughter gets louder.
Your first dance feels like you’re in your own little bubble, your guests are gathered to watch but it’s just a little world where it’s the two of you. Whether your swaying slightly out of sync or you’re executing your pre planned performance, soak up every moment of the day so far that’s led you to this point.
As your band starts playing your second song or your surprise saxophonist joins your DJ the crowd will pour in to join you. Friends spin you around, sweat beads on foreheads, someone sings too loudly, and the whole room becomes a riot of movement and joy.
I’ll be there, hidden in the mix capturing the beginning of the chaos, documenting the start of the messy and the electric vibes of the unfolding party atmosphere.
AFTER THE WEDDING
As you’re nursing your hangovers, packing for your honeymoon and living in the newlywed bliss I’ll be carefully selecting your social media preview. A handful of images shared within a couple of days because who wants to wait?
As you’re soaking up the sun on your honeymoon, drinking cocktails on the beach I’ll be working on your full set of photographs. Each one carefully curated in my signature editing style with the love, care and attention it deserves.
Your full selection of photographs will be presented to you in your very own super stylish private online gallery. Available 6-8 weeks after your big day, the password protected viewing gallery is where you select your favourites to share with your family, download all your images to show them off and even order yourself some show stopping images for your walls.
